Welcome to the Finance Department. We are responsible for both the support and expertise that create the conditions for Svenska kraftnät to fulfill its mission and achieve its goals. Within the Finance Department, the functions that work with governance, monitoring, coordination, accounting, business development, and support are included.

About the position

As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in driving and coordinating the work with Svenska Kraftnät's operational portfolio. The operational portfolio includes the business development initiatives that are driven in program and project form. You will ensure that the right projects are initiated, implemented, and followed up in an effective and strategic manner. The work is carried out in close collaboration with sub-portfolio managers in our various divisions.

Role content and responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor all projects and programs within the operational portfolio, focusing on ensuring that resources are used optimally and that projects align with the company's strategic priorities.
• Ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of progress, cost outcomes, and benefits realization to management.
• Propose priorities between different projects, follow up on timelines and budgets, and identify and manage risks at the portfolio level.
• Continuously compile and evaluate long-term plans for the programs and projects included in the operational portfolio.
• In close collaboration with sub-portfolio managers and business developers within portfolio management, develop models and methods for portfolio management.
• Lead the working forums that exist for operational portfolio management.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will belong to the Portfolio, Project Management & Administration unit within the Finance Department. The unit is responsible for:

• The agency-wide Portfolio and Project Office.
• The portfolio and project management framework.
• Portfolio management of the operational portfolio and one of the included sub-portfolios.
• Management of one of the agency's management objects.

The unit consists of about 7 employees, including some consultants. The employees work as business developers and portfolio and management leaders.

Education:

Higher education (at least a bachelor's degree) or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.

Furthermore, you have:

• Several years of experience managing large project portfolios.
• Several years of experience leading complex programs and projects with a broad and deep understanding of program and project management.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

• Experience leading IT-related projects.
• Several years of experience working in the energy sector.
• Several years of experience working in government agencies.
• Certifications such as PMI's Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) or similar.

• The position is located in Sundbyberg.
• Remote work up to 50% if the work allows.
• Travel may occur, primarily within Sweden.
